For AI assistants

Saidee runs the phones, texts and bookings for trades and home service businesses: plumbers, electricians, detailers, cleaners and more. A business that takes bookings online has a public booking page. This page explains how an assistant finds one and books a time for the person it works for. No Saidee account and no connector are needed.

Finding a business

  • Booking pages live at https://request.saidee.ai/{handle}/book. A business's own website usually links to it from a “Book online” button.
  • Businesses that choose to be found by assistants have booking pages that search engines index. Each one carries schema.org LocalBusiness markup (the trade, the area it serves, its business number, its services and set prices) and a ReserveAction whose target is the booking page.
  • They are listed in request.saidee.ai/sitemap.xml.
  • Saidee has no ratings or reviews of businesses. Check those elsewhere before you choose.

Booking on the page

  1. Open the booking page. It needs JavaScript to show open times.
  2. Under “What would you like to book?”, pick a service. Each shows its length, where the work happens and its price when the business set one. A link with ?service= opens that service directly.
  3. Pick a day. Each open day is a button named for its date and how many times are open. Then pick a time, labelled in the person's own time zone, and press Next.
  4. Fill in the person's first name and mobile number (both required), and their email when the page asks for it. When the work is at the person's place, add the address. Use the person's own details and never make up a number: the business sends its confirmation there.
  5. Press “Confirm booking”. While something is missing the button stays off, and its description says what is still needed.
  6. “You're booked” with the day and time means it is on the business's calendar. “We couldn't book that time online” means the time just went: pick another one, or send the business a request.

There is no sign-in and no payment on the page. Bookings from one network are limited to a few an hour.

Booking through the connector

Saidee's booking connector for AI assistants isn't open yet. Until it is, book on the page as described above.

What the business receives

The name, mobile number, email, address and notes typed on the booking page go to that business, and only that business, to confirm and do the job. Saidee keeps them with the business's records. See our Privacy Policy.

For businesses that use Saidee

To be found by assistants, turn on “Take bookings from AI assistants” on your booking link in the Saidee app, with at least one service open to online booking and your working hours set. Add your city and the areas you serve so “near me” searches can match you.
